Aims of the School

Our mission statement :  "Bringing out the best in everyone".

1.To create a happy, friendly and safe school which welcomes children, parents and the wider community and promotes  partnership in the education of children.
 

2.   To help children to acquire skills and knowledge to as high a standard as possible in all areas of the curriculum.
 
3.   To offer children stimulating materials and situations so as to create an atmosphere that supports learning.
 
4. To present the national curriculum at the three keystages  (Foundation, 1 and 2) in a way that matches children's abilities, aptitude and stage of development.
 
5.  To encourage kindness and understanding to one another, within the school, in order that children may develop positive standards for living in a community.
 
6.  To develop children's ability to think creatively, consider a problem, discuss it, draw conclusions and to act on them.
 
7.  To develop children's self confidence, to encourage initiative, and a high standard of personal behavior.
 
8.  To develop good community relationships in order that the work of the school is clearly understood and that support and co-operation is channeled to the mutual benefit of all.
