OUR WORK
In this section it starts to get interesting because
not only do you find out about what we are learning, curriculum etc., but
also what we are doing.
Our Work In The Foundation Stage
The
curriculum is based around six areas of learning. These are:-
Personal, Social and Emotional development
Communication, Language and Literacy
Mathematics
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Creative development
Physical development
The
children will be given the opportunity to experience and explore learning
activities within the structured environment of the classroom. They will
be encouraged to engage in activities planned by adults and also those
that they plan or initiate themselves.
The
whole curriculum has a new focus on the value of play, through which the
teachers may support, encourage and develop the learning of each individual
child.
